I was out in the garden today not content with just lazing about.
My head was so full of thoughts as I have just reached my one year anniversary. Yip. One year since I launched Catapult AND one year since I planted my first garden.Which in it self is huge too. Because I I use to pull the flowers out and water the weeds. I hadn’t drawn the conclusion of the two… Interesting what has happened.
Why?
I have learnt to plant seeds of hope, trust, vision and confidence. To give these seeds warmth & nourishment. And with that they WILL grow. That there is a science behind it all. You can’t plant seeds in rich soil, feed & water them and they NOT grow. How freaking cool is that!!
And this is exactly how my business has Catapulted. I planted my seeds of purpose, passion, dreams and hopes into the rich soils from my life’s experiences. Then I gathered nourishment from leading women, networking, training and watered it all with consistency and persistence.
When I am cooking in my kitchen I look out to the garden that I have planted, nurtured, and cleared out. To the garden that I pull the weeds out and sweep away the dead leaves diligently… And I realise it is the same with our minds. You can’t just plant something… and expect it to all work out. You have to consistently pull the weeds aka the bad thoughts. The more you pull them the less you have to pull. The beauty around you becomes more…Just that more in a vibrant abundant way.
As I finish my first year in business I am humbled by the accomplishments. The guest speaking gigs I have coming up in 2016, the stage I get to share with epic people, the women who I have helped move forward and found clarity. But most importantly I have found out what I am truly made of…Some freaking amazing tough, loveable and I have gifts to share. However the biggest lesson was that you must ask for help. Tribes and communities are so necessary for you to keep moving forward.
